The Utah Aerospace Pathways program is a multi industry-education partnership serving seven school districts spread across the state of Utah. ACT Aerospace, Albany, Boeing Company, Hexcel, Hill Air Force Base, Janicki Industries, KIHOMAC, Align Precision, Northrop Grumman, and Parker Aerospace collectively support classroom visits and externship opportunities promoting career exploration. Together with partnering schools, educators and industry representatives actively coordinate and organize efforts to train students’ in valuable skill sets leading to rewarding career opportunities.
The UAP program launched in 2015 and continues to grow year after year serving students from Davis, Granite, Iron County, South Sanpete, Tooele County, Ogden, and Weber School Districts. With each new school year, industry and education partners devote time and resources to supporting this long-term partnership to offer students increased access to careers and opportunities to explore and discover their interests and talents.
